Return to Mechania
Return to Mechania is my latest educational project - published by Sherston Publishing Group.
It is half simulation half game, and enables teachers and pupils at Keystages 2 and 3 to explore many different kinds of mechanisms and mechanical principles - cams, moments, linkages, gears, pneumatics and pulleys.
The simulation mode enables an efficient and flexible demonstration of each mechanism and its mathematical basis. The adventure mode tests users' understanding and problem solving skills with a sequence of tasks set in different fantasy locations in the Kingdom of Mechania.
